Jeffrey N. Farber, M.D.

Dr. Farber received his undergraduate education at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and was awarded membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. Dr. Farber completed his medical internship at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan and then became a Clinical Fellow in Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. After his medical fellowship he completed his dermatology training at the combined dermatology residency program at Tufts University School of Medicine and Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Farber is a board certified dermatologist in private practice in Plymouth, Massachusetts and is also an Associate Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Frederick D. Wax, M.D.

Dr. Wax received his medical degree from the University of Toronto School of Medicine in 1968. He completed his internship in general medicine in 1969 at the University of Toronto and his training in dermatology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in 1979. Dr. Wax is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Tufts University School of Medicine and an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Wax is past-president of the New England Dermatological Society and the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology and serves on the Advisory Board of the American Academy of Dermatology. He was awarded “Top Doctor” by Boston Magazine in 2006.

Anne-Sophie J. Gadenne, M.D.

Dr. Anne-Sophie Gadenne graduated from Boston University, manga cum laude in 1985 with a B.A. in biology. She then received her medical degree in 1990 from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Gadenne completed an internship in Internal Medicine at University Hospital in Boston. Subsequently, she trained in dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. During her years of study and training, Dr. Gadenne was a research assistant in biochemistry, hematology and dermatology. Prior to joining Plymouth Dermatology Associates, Dr. Gadenne was an a Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Cincinnati and Chief of Dermatology Section at the Cincinnati VA Hospital in Ohio. As a faculty at the University of Cincinnati she was teaching medical students internal medicine, family practice and dermatology residents. She also during that time worked in a section of immunology research at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Gadenne now cares for the general dermatological concerns of both children and adults. She has an interest in the medical and surgical management of pre-skin cancers and skin cancers.

Carrie Hansen, FNP-BC

Carrie Hansen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. After working as a registered nurse for four years, she returned to Grand Valley State University and graduated with a master’s of science in nursing in 2000. She then moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she began her career as a dermatology nurse practitioner. She was active in the dermatology community by co-chairing the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Dermatologic Society and lecturing senior nurse practitioner students at Arizona State University. Carrie was a member of the Phoenix Dermatologic Society and is currently a member of the Dermatology Nurse’s Association and American College of Nurse Practitioners. She is a valued member of Plymouth Dermatology Associates.

Roseanne Simonsen, PME

Roseanne has been a licensed medical aesthetician since 1995. She came to work for Plymouth Dermatology Associates in 1997 and has taken pride in helping both adolescents and adults put their best face forward ever since. Roseanne specializes in chemical peels, acne treatments, customized skin care and laser hair removal.

Joanna

Joanna Zecco, MPAS, PA-C,

Joanna graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Worcester campus, where she earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society. Joanna holds a PA license in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island and is currently a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Rhode Island Dermatology Society. Prior to joining Plymouth Dermatology Associates, Joanna began her career as a Dermatology PA at a private practice in Johnston, Rhode Island. Family, friends and a strong tie to Cape Cod brought her back to Massachusetts and into our practice.
